AWARD-WINNING FAIR
The Gloucester Fair has long been
recognized among its peers as being a top-quality, award-winning
fair. Its many notable achievements include receiving the
following awards:
- 1995 The Board of Directors of the
Gloucester Fair were recognized by the City of Gloucester
when each Director was selected as a recipient of a
Gloucester Achievement Award.
- Recipient of one PACE award
(Promotion, Advertising and Communications Excellence)
presented by the Canadian Association of Exhibitions. The
award was for "Best Print" (1 colour) for 1995.
- Recipient of the 1995 "White
Glove "Award. This award is presented by Conklin
Shows for the cleanest fair grounds.
1994
- Recipient of two PACE awards
(Promotion, Advertising and Communications Excellence)
presented by the Canadian Association of Exhibitions' The
awards were for "Best Print" (1 colour), and
"Best Outdoor" for 1994. The Fair was also
presented Certificates of Merit for the categories of
"Best Print Ad (B & W)", "Best
TV". "Best Poster". "Best Nonverbal
On-Grounds Communication", and "Best Overall
Campaign".
- Recipient of the 1994 "White
Glove" Award. This award is presented by Conklin
Shows for the cleanest fair grounds.
1993
- Recipient of four PACE awards
(Promotion, Advertising and Communications Excellence)
presented by the Canadian Association of Exhibitions. The
awards were for "Best Print" (1 colour),
"Best Poster", "Best Outdoor" and
"Best Overall Campaign" for 1993. The Fair was
also presented a Certificate of Merit in the category of
"Best Radio"
- 1992 On November 4th, the Board of
Directors of the Gloucester Fair was recognized by the
City of Gloucester when each Director was selected as a
recipient of a Gloucester Achievement Award.
- In 2003 the Gloucester Fair was
awarded the Advance Sales Achievement Award from World's
Finest Shows for moving the advanced bracelet sales
program into the modern on-line age with the first
e-commerce ticket box.
